Abu Dhabi announces tender for premier events arenas

The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), in collaboration with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), has announced a tender for an ambitious Musataha project to design, build, maintain, and operate state-of-the-art events arenas in Madinat Al Riyadh and Madinat Zayed.

This initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s vision of sustainable urban development, aiming to enhance community engagement by providing high-quality spaces for cultural activities, sports, and entertainment.

The tender marks a milestone as the first project launched under ADIO’s new Investment Map, a platform highlighting investment opportunities across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra. Designed to attract UAE national investors, the Investment Map was unveiled during the inaugural Abu Dhabi Business Week, further cementing the emirate’s reputation as a global investment and innovation hub.

• Opening Date: 4 December 2024
• Closing Date: 20 January 2025
• Bidders can access the Request for Proposals (RFP) through ADIO’s digital platform

The project will feature cutting-edge facilities, including sports venues, outdoor event spaces, administrative offices, and retail outlets. In addition to meeting the highest operational standards, the arenas will integrate open green areas to encourage community interaction and relaxation, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s commitment to sustainability.
